If your child has a cell phone, you also need to consider what kind of charger is best. Do they need a travel charger or a desktop charger? Can they just share your charger? If a desktop charger, where should it be located?

Most adults have a cell phone charger in their vehicle, plugging the phone in as they drive to and from work or while they are running errands. However, if your preteen has a phone, a better option for them would be a desktop charger. A desktop charger can be placed in a strategic location in your home so that it serves as a reminder for the phone to be charged. This has the added benefit of providing downtime when your child cannot be constantly talking or texting on the phone while at home.
